Jesus Is The Answer Ministries, Apostolic Church and Television Ministries, was originally founded in 1976 by a husband and wife team, Pastor Albert and Janice Burnam, in Compton, Ca. and Evangelist Clara C. Woodson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was called the Wilderness Table Apostolic Mission. It started as a mission to feed, cloth and minister to children and adults in need in the Compton Community. The overseer of the newly found mission was Evangelist Clara C. Woodson, Then 95 years old and still praying, of Philadelphia, Penn. The mission was started in a patio in east Compton. Evangelist Clara Woodson has since gone on the be with the Lord at the age of 100. (pictured below).
Sis. Sharee Scott, Bro. Randy & Sis. Granny were just a few of the youth benefited by the ministry of the Wilderness Table Apostolic back in 1980.
In May of 1979, Sis. Janice Burnam, met and ministered to a 15 year old young man on a bus trip to her job from Compton, CA. to Downtown Los Angeles. It was bus line number 34 which ran down Atlantic Ave. then West on Fernwood ave north on Alameda st west on 7th street all the way to the center city of downtown Los Angeles. That fifteen year old young man was, then, Ernest Johnson, a lost kid seeking Jesus to save his soul. He had gotten involved in an occult. Sis. Janice would minister until God would bring the increase in this young mans life, a young man who would soon be preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the whole world.
